Charles Daniel
Morning Meteorologist
Charles Daniel joined CBS 42 as a meteorologist in August 2007. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Charles graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelors Degree in Communications. From there, Charles attended Mississippi State University where he earned a Master of Science Degree in Broadcast Meteorology.
Prior to joining the CBS 42 weather team, Charles worked for WJHG-TV in Panama City Beach, Florida and WTOK-TV in Meridian, Mississippi. While in Mississippi, he felt the affects of Hurricanes Ivan, Dennis, and Katrina and the tornado outbreak associated with Rita as well. He has a passion for severe weather and tropical forecasting. Those skills will prove useful here in Central Alabama.
Charles was introduced to his future wife by a coworker at WTOK. That coworker ended up being his future mother-in-law. Charles married his best friend Brannan in Meridian, Mississippi in July 2006. Together they enjoy working out, eating good food, going to the movies, and walking their puppy Sam.
