Abby Chin
Sports ReporterAbby Chin is the latest addition to Alabama’s biggest and best TV sports team. Abby joins CBS 42 as a sports reporter, photographer and anchor.
Abby grew up at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Denver, Colorado. After graduating from the University of Colorado, Abby moved across the country to work for ESPN in Bristol, Connecticut. She started at ESPN Classic producing documentaries about significant moments in sports history. After two years, Abby switched to live event production covering a variety of sports from the Women’s Final Four to Monday Night Football.
She headed South, in search of warm weather and the opportunity to work in front of the camera. Abby started as a sports/news reporter at WSFA in Montgomery, Alabama in the spring of 2008.
She admires the passion Alabama and Auburn fans have for college football, but she is an avid Denver Broncos fan and wishes John Elway had never retired.
