Regions Announces Second Quarter Drop of 55%

With the recent announcement of troubles with Wachovia, things aren't going well for Regions Financial Corporation, either.
The bank released its second quarter profits on Tuesday and, it's down 55%, well below Wall Street expectations.
For the quarter ending June 30th, Regions reported a net income of $206 million, compared with $453 million in the same quarter last year.
