Regular Gas Jumps another Half-cent overnight to $3.93

Gas prices across Alabama hit another record high Thursday, but remains below the national average.
According to AAA, the average statewide price for regular jumped a half cent overnight to $3.93 a gallon. That's a dollar higher than a year ago and a 25 cent spike in the past month.
The nationwide average price of a gallon of regular was $4.06.
The web site, Gasbuddy.com, reported the cheapest gas was found at stations in Montgomery and Hope Hull where regular sold for $3.77 a gallon. The most expensive - $4.09 a gallon – was being sold at a station in Auburn.
