When you see flashing lights ahead, you're supposed to move your car to another lane. Here’s a visual reminder of why states have that law.
This video comes from the Minneapolis Police Department, but it could happen anywhere.
The officer is lucky to be alive. Just as he was finishing-up a traffic stop, a second car plows into the first vehicle, sending him flying into the ditch.
The officer was able to get up and give the driver of the car he had pulled over CPR. Turns out, the driver of the second car was drunk.
