Nicole Wyatt Weekend Anchor/Reporter Nicole Wyatt is a native of Wexford, Pennsylvania who came south to attend the University of Alabama. About two minutes after Nicole arrived in Tuscaloosa for school, she got involved with their commercial television station, WVUA-TV. It’s there that she began as a tape editor, eventually working her way up to producer, reporter, and fill-in anchor. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast News, Nicole accepted a full-time position with WVUA as weekend anchor/producer and general assignment reporter. During her four years at WVUA, she was able to cover the string of West Alabama church burnings, and hurricanes Rita, Katrina and Dennis. When Nicole is not working, she loves to shop, play tennis, and be with her friends and family. In 2007 Nicole got married in Birmingham to her husband Wes. The two happily reside in south Tuscaloosa County, along with their Chihuahua, Boomer. Nicole is happy that she gets to continue covering West Alabama’s stories as CBS 42’s Tuscaloosa Bureau Reporter. If you have any story ideas or suggestions for Nicole, please email her.
