David Lamb Anchor David is the seventh of ten children. He was born in Okeechobee, Florida. A business opportunity brought the Lambs to Birmingham and Alabama has been their home ever since. David graduated from Cathedral Christian School in Center Point. He then attended the University of Alabama and received a Bachelors degree in Broadcasting and Film Communication. David joined Sherri Jackson in January of 2000 to anchor the evening newscasts on CBS 42. David has won several awards for his reporting and anchoring throughout his broadcasting career. David has worked at TV stations in Huntsville and Tuscaloosa. David lives in Hoover with his wife Sonya and their three children, Jessica, Isabella, and Will. In addition to spending as much time as possible with his family David has volunteered time with UCP, Children's Miracle Network and Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Alzheimer's of Central Alabama and several other charitable organizations. David also teaches Sunday School and sings in the choir at the Metropolitan Church of God in Birmingham. David also enjoys speaking to school, church, senior and civic groups throughout central Alabama. Email David |
