Sherri is the weekday Anchor for CBS 42 News at 5 & 10 o'clock. Sherri's broadcast career spans more than 15 years taking her on a trek across the Southeast and MidAtlantic states. She has worked for WGXA-TV in Macon, GA, WSAV-TV in Savannah GA, and WSAZ-TV in Charleston and Huntington West Virginia.
She's a graduate of Morehead State University in Morehead, KY. Sherri has lived in the Birmingham area since 1998. She's dedicated to serving the community frequently making herself available to schools, civic groups and Churches. She also serves as a board member with American Red Cross, Alabama Blood Services and the Children's Aid Society. Sherri is a former President of the Birmingham Association of Black Journalists, the local chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists.
Sherri's hobbies include some announcing for her son's little league baseball team, reading, acting, and anything involving the Arts. Sherri is also an enthusiastic JEOPARDY fan. Sherri and her family reside in Vestavia Hills.
